1. What does Bentley Parking Services do?
We work with businesses to make their parking spaces available to people who need them. For the businesses our goal is to give a business a chance to make an extra income off of spaces they don't need. We handle everything from marketing to payment collection to customer service. We make it so the business doesn't have to spend time on their parking spaces and can spend that time running their business. In exchange for our services we take a percentage of the revenue. If the business doesn't make money we don't. For the customers our goal is to make their commute easier. We offer guaranteed parking, so they never have to worry about finding a full parking lot or getting to the lot early just so they can get a space.
2. Does Bentley Parking Services own the spaces?
No. We work with whoever has the right to the spaces to make them available to you. In no location will we own any of the spaces.
3. Why should a business use your service?
Our service allows you to make extra income off of spaces that you do not use. Instead of having them sit empty and make nothing off of them use them to make some extra income and give people who need the space a chance to use them. We handle everything, so you can spend time running your business and not worrying about parking. We also pay for parking signs, marketing materials, and anything else needed. Most importantly we take a percentage of the revenue. This means if you don't make money we don't.
4. Why should a customer use your service?
We offer guaranteed parking, so you always have a spot. Without a guaranteed space you could drive to a lot only to find that it is full or maybe you have to get to the lot earlier than you would like just so you are able to get spot. We limit the number of people at each location making sure that a space is always available for you. Also, signing up and using the space is easy.
5. Why use your service over the MBTA parking?
In some locations MBTA parking is limited. This requires people to get to the spaces early or have someone drop them off. If they don't then the lot could be full. By using our service it eliminates that problem. You are always guaranteed a space.
6. Is there any extra fees or taxes that I will pay?
No. What you see as the price of the space is what you will pay.
7. Why is it a subscription?
A couple reasons. First, it saves you time. By having a subscription you don't have to go through the process of reordering each month. Second, it makes it so you don't have to worry about forgetting to reorder. We know you probably have a million things on your mind and when your month of parking ends is probably one of the last things your thinking about. By having a subscription you are automatically renewed each month.
8. How do I subscribe?
Either click the pay for parking button on the space location's page or email rfadden@bentleyparkingservices.com to reserve a space. After you click you are brought to our order page which we use Zoho Subscriptions for. Once you are on the page enter your information and click subscribe.
9. Can I subscribe to multiple spaces?
Yes. When you click subscribe on the space location page you are brought to our order page. At the top of the order page you are able to enter the quantity that you want.
10. What do I do with the emails I receive?
Each month you will receive 2 emails. One will be "Bentley Parking Services Subscription Created" or "Bentley Parking Services Subscription Renewed". This email has information on your subscription and you don't need to do anything with it. The other email will be "Bentley Parking Services Invoice - Print and Place on Dashboard". This email has the invoice attached to it. Print off the invoice and place on your driver's side dashboard before you use the space. By having your invoice on the dashboard we will know you have paid for the space.
11. What happens when my month of use ends?
You will be automatically charged for the next month. Just print off the new invoice attached to the new email titled "Bentley Parking Services Invoice - Print and Place on Dashboard" place it on your dashboard and keep using the space.
12. Which spaces do I use?
It depends on the location. Some locations will let you park in any of their spaces while other locations will have a Bentley Parking Services parking area. If they have a Bentley Parking Services parking area you can use any of the Bentley Parking Services spaces. They will be clearly marked with our black and white signs that say "Reserved Parking Bentley Parking Services Only". We will email you when you sign up letting you know which spaces are able to be used.
13. Do I have an assigned spot?
No. You can park in any of the Bentley Parking Services spaces.
14. Are the spaces guaranteed?
Yes. On each space location's page it will say when you can use the space. For that time you are guaranteed a space. We limit the number of subscribers to the number of spaces we have. For example, if we have 20 spaces only 20 subscriptions will be available. This guarantees that you will always have a space.
15. When can I use the spaces?
On the location page it will say when you can use the spaces in the top paragraph right under the price for the space. Most locations will allow you to park anytime 24/7, but certain locations may limit when you can park.
16. Can I cancel my subscription and how?
Yes. To cancel your subscription contact us by emailing rfadden@bentleyparkingservices.com and we will cancel your subscription.
17. Will the price of my space change?
Maybe. If the price is going to change we will contact you to let you know. If the price goes down we will contact you and subscribe you at the new lower price. If the price increases we will contact you and you can choose to subscribe to the increased price or cancel your subscription. The new price you pay will start on your next payment.
18. If I order in the middle of a month is the price prorated?
The way that paying for the space works is you pay for a full month. For example, if you order on August 18th you will be subscribed from August 18th - September 17th and your subscription will renew on the 18th of each month. So spaces are not prorated, but you are never paying a full month's price for only part of the month.
19. Do I have to leave my keys with anyone?
No. Any time you park you take your keys with you.
